USDA's 09/30/2026 national FOB shell egg index shows caged Large up to 46.56¢/dozen from 44.98¢, while caged Extra Large slipped to 43.30¢ from 43.68¢. Caged Medium rose to 23.10¢ from 22.19¢; cage-free Extra Large held flat at 47.50¢. Retail demand is moderate, supplies moderate, market activity slow to moderate.
