EIA data shows US on-highway diesel fell to $6.382/gallon for the week of Sept 28, 2026, down 2.3% from $6.529 prior week; PADD 1 diesel dropped 2.1% to $6.137. Residential natural gas jumped 22.1% to $24.090 per thousand cubic feet in June 2026, up from $19.730.
