Corn, Soybeans, Cattle Futures Rally in Sept 2026 Close
December corn closed at $5.43, up 15.5 cents, while November soybeans rose 24.5 cents to $13.28. Soybean meal, soybean oil, wheat, live cattle, feeder cattle and lean hogs all posted gains in the September 21, 2026 futures close.
Why it matters: Rising Dec. corn ($5.43) and soybean meal costs will push feed expenses higher for egg producers using corn-soy rations.
