Delete Your Account

EggWire (operated by EggWire LLC) is a news monitoring service for the egg and poultry industry. This page explains how to request deletion of your EggWire account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to [email protected] from the email address on your account.
2. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
3. A person reads every request and confirms once it's done.

Request account deletion

We may need to verify that the request came from the account holder before acting on it.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account record and email address
• Your notification and alert preferences
• Saved states, companies, and topics you follow
• Push notification tokens registered to your account
• Usage records tied to your account, such as reading history and delivery logs

What we keep

Billing and invoice records are retained where required for tax and accounting purposes, even after your account is deleted. Copies of deleted data may also remain for a limited period in backups, logs, and similar records before routine deletion, the same as described in our Privacy Policy.

Cancelling a subscription is different

Deleting your account is not the same as cancelling a paid subscription. To stop future charges without deleting your account, open Manage billing from your account on the web — see Support for details. Deleting your account does not automatically issue a refund for the current billing period.
